Summer in Korea

Good food, great people and a beautiful country. I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone who has the opportunity to participate! Learning in a classroom with students from all over the world in a top university, while also traveling and enjoying Korea is the best way I could’ve spent the holidays. The connections along with the experiences I made will last me a lifetime!

Seagulls on the Han River

I felt that the SNU ISP program was the perfect introduction to both SNU and South Korea. I had so much fun traveling to different neighborhoods and attractions in Seoul, and there were not only very advanced and exciting districts like Hongdae but also precious natural areas like the mountain Gwanaksan. Because of Seoul's incredible public transportation, I could visit places after attending two classes during the day, and the KTX train even let me take a day trip to Busan on the other side of the country!

Traditional vs Modern

SNU has given me the opportunity to learn and debate with new friends on topics I never thought I’d learn about in a university setting (Hallyu, K-pop and K-dramas!!). I’ve had so much fun exploring Seoul and the rest of South Korea! The food is awesome, the people are awesome, the views are spectacular and I really love the public transport (the subway has my heart❤️)!! Thank you so much for having me, it was an honour to study here!!

I ♡ Seoul

"The International Summer Program at the Seoul National University was an extraordinary experience! I'm very thankful for all the possibilities: studying at the SNU, exploring Seoul and the Korean culture. I met so many new people from different countries like Vietnam, England, France, India, Singapore, China, Germany, etc. The Psychology-Course I took was very interesting wich is why I really enjoyed it. In contrast to the academic part of the program were the field trips: Seoul city tour, the DMZ (demilitarised zone), Everland, Lotte-World, as well as all the things we could to in our free time. ;) This International Summer Program was an amazing opportunity to study abroad, improve your language skills (english and korean) and meet many new people. It was such a great time! Thank you!!! :D"

Knowing that i am learning the language that uses Seoul National University Materials, it’s always been my dream to experience my life as a student at SNU. Voila! Here i am as a student at SNU as part of the ISP curriculum. The teachers are very friendly and helpful when we have a hard time pronouncing hanguel. Therefore, the class is so much fun! I will always treasure this moments!
