2021 SNU Online ISP List of Courses


▶ What is new about 2021 Online ISP Courses? 

  • All courses and activities are held online.
  • Along with 8 ISP-exclusive elective courses taught by SNU's full-time faculty, 10 regular major courses (yellow-colored below) that are normally part of SNU's regular semester curriculum will be newly provided and taught by academically rigorous scholars at overseas universities. (Read more)

 Course Registration Procedure (See FAQs for more information)

  • Students can take up to 3 courses that do not overlap in time.
  • Each course has a varying registration quota and course registration will be executed on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Online course registration will be open to SNU and international applicants from May 13, through mySNU (https://my.snu.ac.kr). International applicants must in advance complete online application and acquire SNU student number to access the system.
  • Some courses (8 ISP-exclusive elective courses) are prioritized to international applicants, whose registration is available throughout the application period, from March 11 to May 28. To those who complete online application, SNU will send an e-mail guide for registration instruction.

* 26 April update: [Graduate] Seminars in Systems Neuroscience Ⅰ (Mind, Brain, and Behavior) was cancelled due to faculty situation.

* 4 May update: China in World Affairs was cancelled due to faculty situation.

* 6 May update: Two Koreas: Modern Korean History and Society class time has changed from 16:00~19:00 to 16:30~19:30.

* 10 May update: [Graduate] Foreign Policy's final class date finalized to July 15, and course syllabus updated. In-person classes will be partially held, which will be recorded for students who cannot join the class.

[Graduate] Topics in Industrial Engineering's class days changed from TWTF to TWT, and course syllabus updated.

* 11 May update: 

- [Graduate] People Analytics for Organization Development's class dates and class time changed from June 28 - July 16 (MTWTF 9:00~12:00) to June 28 - July 23 (MTWT 9:00~12:00). The syllabus has been updated accordingly. 

- [Graduate] Topics in Industrial Engineering's class time has been synchronized with the one on the course syllabus, too.  

- Students who wish to take both [Graduate] Multi-Disciplinary Design for Urban Air Mobility and [Graduate] Computational Modeling for Fluid Dynamics can register for both courses despite the overlap.

* 20 May update: Pandemic Crisis and Global Health Policy's course dates have changed from June 28 - July 30 to June 23 - July 26. The course dates on the course syllabus are changing accordingly.

* 25 May Update: Korean Architecture and Urbanism's class time has changed from 9:00~12:00 to 15:00~18:00

* 27 May Update: [Graduate] Foreign Policy's course syllabus has been modified.

* 31 May Update

 - Korean Economic Development and World Trade has been cancelled after course registration.

 - Korean Architecture and Urbanism's couse dates have changed from June 22 - July 22 to June 23 - July 26. The course syllabus has been updated accordingly.

* 4 June Update

 - According to the course registration results, course cancellation decision was made.

 - The instructor of Two Koreas: Modern Korean History and Society has changed to Prof. JeongHun Han, Graduate School of International Studies.
